Cut Costs and Reduce Oil Usage with Filtakleen Filtration Systems

Filtakleen by-pass filters bring long term benefits in reliability, component life and oil life, resulting in all-round cost savings to the end user.

Standard hydraulic and engine oils, even when new, will have a certain level of particle contamination.

In-line machine filters will only offer filtration of particles of between 10-25 microns. As much of today’s machinery works with tolerances as fine as 4-5 microns, removal of particle size is critical to system performance.

By-pass filtration systems for hydraulic and engine oils achieve ultra fine debris removal down to just one micron, with 100% water removed from oil.

Filtakleen can increase oil life by more than 300% - and the life of a standard in-line filter element by over four times or more - reducing the disposal of oil and filters.

How Does It Work?

A supplement to the main filters, the Filtakleen filter works by continually taking only a small amount of oil from the system and performing a more thorough cleaning operation.

The oil enters and exits the unit at the base, where the filtered oil is collected and passed through a base grid. The oil journeys up through the centre tube of the filter before passing back down through the filter element.

Ultra fine filtration and water absorbancy is achieved through the components’ huge surface areas – 550,000 cm2 in the largest of the hi-tech cartridges.

Filtakleen is the only by-pass filter to filter oil down to one micron and remove all water content, resulting in major long term benefits in both component life and circuit operation.
